Mount Lemon
Rising over 9,000 feet, it offers cool mountain air, pine forests, and sweeping views of the desert below. Visitors come for hiking, rock climbing, and picnics in summer, and in winter it’s home to Arizona’s southernmost ski area.
Old Tucson
Originally built as a movie set in 1939, it’s been the backdrop for countless western films and TV shows. Today, it’s part living history museum, part theme park — with stunt shows, stagecoach rides, old-time saloons, and dusty streets that feel straight out of a cowboy movie.
San Xavier
Built in the late 1700s, this Spanish colonial mission sits just south of the city and is still an active parish today. Visitors are drawn to its brilliant white façade, hand-painted interior, and peaceful desert setting. It’s a must-see spot that beautifully captures the history, culture, and spirit of the Southwest.
Tombstone Arizona
